Karori is a relaxed golf club – the closest country course to Wellington City. Our members are friendly and welcoming.
Shop hours
A range of golf accessories (balls, tees, gloves etc) as well as snacks, drinks and a limited range of clothing is available form the shop during the following opening hours:
Monday - 9:00am to 3:00pm
Tuesday - 9:00am to 3:00pm
Wednesday - 9:00am to 4:00pm
Thursday - 9:00am to 3:00pm
Friday - 9:00am to 3:00pm
Saturday & Sunday - 7:30am to 4:30pm
Clubs are available for hire from the shop at $20 per set.
Trundlers can be hired for $5 each
Golf Cart hire is available at $40 (visitors). You can book this online

WEDNESDAY CLUB
Members gather every Wednesday (except public holidays) from about 10-30am for a weekly
competition, either “Stableford” or “Par”, over 18 holes, off the white tees. There are also prizes for scoring a 2 on any hole and “nearest the pin” on the 4th hole. Entry fee is $5 which covers the competition ($3) and entry to the raffle ($2).
All members, guests and visitors are welcome.
Refreshments, tea, coffee, and/or freshly prepared sandwiches or scones etc. will usually be
available from soon after 10 am and also after play has been completed.
A “disc draw” is done at 10.55 am to determine which of 4 tees players start from and who their fellow players will be. Play begins at 11.00 am starting off the 4 tees, 1st, 5th, 8th and 10th.
Players wishing to play 9 holes, start from the 1st tee after the last of those playing 18 holes have teed off, usually about 11.25am.
Play will usually be completed by about 3.30pm when the raffle will be drawn and the
day’s competition results announced.
